WHERE ARE YOU HEADED IN 2020 AND BEYOND?
Our journey through life seems to keep our focus on all the things we have to get done in the day, week or month. We are always focused on how we can successfully confront all of the things we must do or think that we must do to stay ahead. Many of the items on the list are definitely necessary, such as taking care of family and work obligations. But what about the things that are really important like focusing on being a better person to all human kind and to ourselves. We can accomplish both of these things, but often we do not think we have the energy to tackle the self-improvement part of our journey because most of our attention goes to getting through the day without extra on our to-do lists. Many see self-improvement as something to do if you have extra time to spare... which no one seems to find.
For 2020, we should all find a way to improve our relationships with others and with ourselves while we move through all of our important obligations. They are not mutually exclusive and can be done at the same time. Having the benefit of being able to look back on your life from an older age usually ends up in having wished you were more focused on the important things rather than the daily grind. I often like to view my life from the ripe, old age of 95 and look back to make sure I am doing what I came here to do...LOVING, CARING, ENJOYING, LEARNING, FINDING PEACE and EVOLVING. If not, I need to make some big changes before I get to that day because to me, there is not much worse than having regrets and not fulfilling your purpose before your time is up.
LOVE AND PEACE ALWAYS!
