LET'S CHOOSE TO AGE-LESS

LET'S CHOOSE TO AGE-LESS EVERY DAY.

Can we choose how we age?

Kind of.  While aging is not a choice, how well you age can be.

Guess what?  Your cells do not know how old you are although they are very intelligent they have no concept of time.  According to microbiologist and author Bruce Lipton in one of my favorite books “Biology of Belief” he believes that our biography becomes our biology.

What does he mean by this?  He means that the story we tell ourselves and others about how we feel and what health issues we and our parents experienced become expressed due to our firm beliefs that this will also happen to us.

Basically, our minds control every cell in our body and can either heal us or harm us.

Consider the placebo effect.  We all know by now that the placebo effect is a sugar pill that can heal our bodies based on the belief that this pill is an actual prescription drug.  Proven over and over again to be true.  The placebo effect also works in the reverse which is known as the nocebo effect.

WHAT IS THE NOCEBO EFFECT?  WE ALL DO IT

Let’s say you visit the doctor and they tell you that you are likely to develop the same illness as your mom or dad.  You now are carrying around this negative thought with you and your mind may eventually own this thought and overtime, your body can develop the symptoms to prove you are right.  The nocebo effect.  This works for more than just our health. Any negative thought entertained over and over again has real physical effects.

No one would ever want to create illness; I totally agree. So why is this true?

Something to think about.

 CHOOSE TO AGE LESS.

In regards to aging; we must have a powerful belief system that we can age as we choose with support from a healthy choices that reinforce our belief system and over time, we CAN age well.

Again, our cells take instruction from our minds not from father time.

Less stress and anxiety and worry and more gratitude, joy and laughter all help in the aging process.  They say your skin and face are a reflection of your emotions so let’s strive for happy thoughts to replace those negative thoughts as often as we can…even if just once a day.

Something to consider and enjoy a happier and healthier life.

~Grateful!
